Sydney is the largest city in Australia with a population
in its metropolitan area of nearly 4.34 million. It is the oldest city
in the country and the capital of New South Wales. It was the seat of
the first British colony in Australia.
Located on an inlet of the Tasman Sea, Sydney is made up of several hills
surrounding Port Jackson.
