Dubai is the most populous city and one of seven emirates that make up since 1971 the United Arab Emirates. It lies along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf in the Arabian Peninsula. The name "Dubai" has no meaning in Arabic, but in Hindi means "Two Brothers"
The city of Dubai is famous for its hundreds of attractions and its wide area of skyscrapers, including the Burj Dubai, and blocks of buildings on Sheikh Zayed Road, located in the business district of Dubai.
Among the major projects of urban development and tourism as well as luxury housing, are the Palm Islands, three different environments, in Jumeirah, which is the first project, in Jebel Ali, which is the second (50 % larger) and Deira, three times larger than the first
